Oncologists consider efficacy and durability of response but also toxicity, patient age, comorbidities, disease burden and prior therapies. Operational treatment burden is also increasingly important, she says, because more complex treatment regimens definitely can affect patients' ability to stay on therapy and their overall quality of life.
