In 2025, a combination of cost pressures and the availability of transparent pricing information will spur employers to be more vocal in Washington, D.C., and in state legislatures. Consolidation and growing market power by large health systems, leading to rapidly rising prices, give employers limited marketplace options. Policy solutions are needed.
