The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy has changed the foundation’s name to the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy Foundation. In addition, it has elected four new members to its board of trustees, during the AMCP’s 25th annual meeting and exposition in San Diego.
The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy has changed the foundation’s name to the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy Foundation. In addition, it has elected 4 new members to its board of trustees, during the AMCP’s 25th annual meeting and exposition in San Diego.
New members to the AMCP Foundation’s board include: Annette D. Boyer, president of CECity, Inc.; Richard A. Zabinski, vice president, Prime Therapeutics, LLC; Edwin C. Hedblom, treasurer, 3M Medical; and Robert DeLuca, secretary of Archimedes Pharma US, Inc. Two trustees were re-elected to one-year terms: Perry Cohen, The Pharmacy Group, LLC, and Kathleen Kaa, Genentech USA.
“Since its inception in 1990, the AMCP Foundation has played an integral role in supporting the research and education agenda of AMCP. I welcome the newest members to our Board of Trustees and look forward to working with them to advance the professional development of healthcare practitioners in the managed care community,” said Edith A. Rosato, RPh, IOM, CEO of the Academy and Chair of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
