Washington, D.C. - The Department of Health and Human Services(HHS) should make dozens of changes in its rules and regulations to improvequality of care, avoid waste and lower healthcare costs, according to anadvisory panel created by HHS Secretary Tommy Thompson last year. Now atop-level HHS strike force has the job of implementing these proposals.
