Transforming the management of genetic testing

Publication
Article

New technologies don’t wait to emerge until the policies for handling them are in place. That’s certainly the case with genetic testing. It’s been on the horizon for years, but health care has been caught unprepared by the dramatic growth in the volume and adoption of testing as well as the variety of tests.

In this chapter of “Transforming the management of genetic testing,” we explore the inadequacies of the current genetic test management system and explore the promise and problems of genetic testing.

Read the report to explore ways to better manage genetic test management solutions, ensuring the right test is used at the right time to determine the right care.
